I don’t know about you, but walking can be the most tedious mode of transportation. It takes forever! Or it seems that way when you’re used to having classes five to ten steps away from each other. A fifteen minute walk across campus takes only five minutes when you are biking or longboarding, which is especially helpful when you’re running late, which is almost every morning. While biking and boarding are better alternatives to driving, these modes come with their dangers too. Longboarding and biking accidents are really common and you can get really hurt.
It gets me thinking…
Are the five to ten minutes you save worth the possible injuries you can get or that you can inflict on others?
So leave five minutes early so you can avoid rushing.
Always ride with traffic when you’re on the road, and don’t try to swerve around and through groups of people when you’re not.
And as always, safety first!
